We have just finished our 4th flood day at home.  Nope, not a snow day but a flood day.  We are still boxed in here at the farm.  All of the roads around us remain closed.

Thursday and Friday (today) have been quiet, lazy days.  We have done lots of reading (that would be Mom...), eating, and playing outside and inside.  There have been the odd fights.....but actually, that's not odd at all!

Our friends are all trying to find us ways out of here and tonight, Cass, Cook and their friend, Amanda, took a very winding route to get from Griffith to Boongarra Farm.  At one point, Amanda was even walking through the waters to test their depths!!  Not recommended (and she's Canadian!!))  They made it here with their 4x4 but certainly left before dark!

Tomorrow are the last 4 games of cricket for the boys.  The little boys' games are supposed to be played later in the evening under the big lights and we are to have a sausage sizzle and a windup.  Colt and Kent also have birthday parties to attend.  Cody's cricket coach is going to meet us here in the morning and will try to lead us to town via the very windy route.  We will have our van so will be extra cautious.  We are also taking extra clothes, etc. in case we get stranded in Griffith!  Anything is possible!

So not much else new here....just looking for a way out and back to regular life.  Forget Vince's boat...I just need Dad's 4x4 truck!

It seems so strange that you are in the middle of a flood with all that beautiful blue sky! Spring day here today. 10 degrees and tons of fresh snow in the mountains for Conlans to enjoy this weekend!
